Exploring DSH

Hi guys, do u have tips on using dsh, since Im new to it / exploring. Like what are the ways to optimize the token usage? Do u install ponytail/rtk/caveman? Also there is no ask mode? Like what if I will just to ask only. I know there is a presets ( standard, ptc, minimal). Those presets are equal to ask/plan mode? Thanks.
