Building a workspace that turns drone footage into editable 3D models
We’re building AEC Platform to take drone videos and photos through a complete 3D workflow: Footage → Point cloud → Mesh → Gaussian splat Lately, we’ve been working on the editing workspace—clipping unwanted areas, removing floating geometry, filling holes, simplifying models, and smoothing surfaces. There’s also version history so users can compare changes and restore earlier edits. The example here is a real drone capture we’ve been using to test the workflow. We’re cleaning up the mesh before moving on to the Gaussian splat. Still refining things, but it’s exciting to see the pieces coming together. The goal is to make getting a useful 3D result more approachable, with fewer tools to jump between.
