Upgrade

Upgrading to the Pixel 11pro. Trading in a paid off Pixel 9pro. I can get it directly through Google for $311(tax included )with trade-in and discounts. With T-Mobile is $25 mth for 24mths plus activation fee. Or through Sam's club fee waived and a $75 gift card. I've always upgraded through the carrier. Is there a hassle or drawback to purchasing directly from Google? Will there still be an activation fee? Pros and Cons? Thanks!
