If my subscription lapses do I lose my banked reset if I resub right away?

I want to switch from the $100 plan to the $20 one but there doesnt seem to be a way to drop my plan without letting it expire first. Will I lose my banked reset if I do that? Is there another place to change my plan that i'm missing? it's not in billing
