I got tired of typing tests with signups and ads, so I built one with 41 free variants
Most typing tests I tried either made me sign up, shoved ads between rounds, or wouldn't show my results without an account. So I built my own. What it does: - Timed rounds from 15 seconds to 10 minutes - Modes: numbers, punctuation, capitals, quotes, word lists - Five languages - Instant WPM, accuracy and consistency score - A printable A4 certificate when you finish a 1-minute test - A Dvorak mode where the on-screen keyboard actually switches to the Dvorak layout (every other test shows you QWERTY even in Dvorak mode) - One-hand typing practice pages No signup, no ads, your history stays in your browser (localStorage, nothing sent anywhere). It's a pure front-end static site — I generate all 41 pages from one source template so content never drifts, and I run a 14-check regression gate plus a behavior-level engine harness before every deploy. Would love feedback on what's missing or feels off: typing.rerivo.com
