I saved the cost of 3TB with a little bit of encoding...

Follow up from Definitely worth it, I used fileflows to convert any h264 to hevc. And scheduled it to run over night when power is cheaper, took little over a week. Had a mix of 720p and 1080p content that was h264, wouldn't notice the change in quality to go to hevc, but you will notice the space saving.
