Got forked on GitHub (i will not promote)

I'm on BeAdmin and a few days ago i pushed a tiny script to GitHub - it automates backups for a few Docker containers I run. They'd deleted the LICENSE file, rewrote the README file it was their own project, and left one commit message that just says "cleanup". Heard the same happened to someone using HestiaCP last month, ofc i filled a DMCA with GitHub already. How u guys even catch this besides checking the fork list every day?
