Another thing that occurs to me is that someone who is very fussy about code style, variable naming, and so on is likely to be as unhappy with Claude's code as they are with anyone else's. These are the people who are notorious for abusing the code review process to enforce their every preference.

Things like that weigh hardly at all in my own preferences, so Claude's code doesn't bother me on that level.

When I review Claude's code I pick up on the same things I do when I'm reviewing human-written code: duplicated code, hidden assumptions, missing tests, that sort of thing.

It's not great, but it's pretty good, and it might keep getting better.
