Holm – a self-hosted start page for the whole household/org, with SSO and Raycast-style search inside your apps

Most dashboards I tried are built for the person who runs the server. I wanted something I could hand to my family: they sign in with the SSO I already run, and each person gets their own start page with their apps, bookmarks and wallpaper. So I built Holm . What it does Per-user pages. I publish a catalog of apps once, and everyone builds their own page from it. Layouts are stored server-side, so they follow you across devices. Uses your existing login. OIDC with Authelia, Authentik, Keycloak, Zitadel and others. Admins are decided by group or username. A launcher. Press Ctrl/⌘K to find apps and run commands. It also searches inside Immich, Paperless, Nextcloud, Jellyfin, Planka and Karakeep, each with the person's own login. The integrations are still alpha. Onboarding for non-technical people. Welcome slides, plus a setup guide for each app with App Store and Play links and the server URL to copy. One YAML file, hot-reloaded. Single container (amd64 and arm64), SQLite, no telemetry. What it leaves out: server stats, container health and uptime widgets. Homepage, Glance and Homarr already do that well. Holm is the page you hand to everyone else. Try the demo (login turned off, keep it on your own machine): docker run --rm -p 3000:3000 -e CONFIG_PATH=/app/config.demo.yml ghcr.io/man15h/holm:latest Repo and screenshots: github.com/man15h/holm AI disclosure: I built Holm with help from Claude Fable and Claude Opus 5.5, which wrote much of the code under my direction and review. I've built and maintained open-source projects before, and I review and test every change before it ships. It's early and I'd love feedback, especially from anyone running it for people who'll never touch a YAML file.
