DeepSeek app on LineageOS 14.1 without GApps – Google login fails, here's the fix

If you're running LineageOS (or any AOSP ROM) without Google Play Services and the DeepSeek app won't let you in, here's what's actually going on. The problem: DeepSeek app offers "Sign in with Google" as the default login option. Without GApps / Google Play Services, that button does nothing (or loops, or errors out). It has nothing to do with TLS 1.3, Conscrypt, or Android 7 being too old. The fix: Use "Forgot password" to reset your password and log in with email + password instead of Google. That's it. No Google Services needed. Notes: Custom domain emails (your own server) are not accepted by DeepSeek registration. Use a mainstream provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) if you need a new account. TLS 1.2 is enough – Android 7 handles it natively and DeepSeek's server supports it. Conscrypt is not needed for this. If your email is already registered, just log in – don't try to register again.
