Building a free, open-source Screen Studio + CleanShot X alternative for Mac: early prototype, feedback welcome

I'm working on Orbit , a native macOS screenshot tool, screen recorder and editor. It's free and open source (MIT), forked from BetterCapture. It's a working prototype , not a finished app, so expect rough edges. Works today Screenshots with OCR, pinning and history in the notch Screen, window or area recording with audio Editor with auto-zoom, smooth cursor, backgrounds, trim and export Scripted web-page recordings Optional: your AI agent (Claude Code, Codex or Cursor) records demos for you Not there yet: notarization (you'll need "Open Anyway" on first launch), annotations, captions, GIF export.
