U.S. Indexes Moved Upward Friday; INNIO Climbed Highest
U.S. stock indexes closed up Friday as the NASDAQ Composite Index gained 1.19%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index increased 0.73%, and the Dow rose 0.49%.
The Russell 2000 Index of small-cap stocks gained 0.85%, while the Cboe Volatility Index was down 5.55%.
Among companies with at least $10 billion in market value, INNIO N.V. (INIO), was the biggest leader during the session, rising 9.35%, and Forgent Power Solutions Inc. Cl A (FPS) gained 8.06%. Teradyne Inc. (TER) rounded out the top three leaders on Friday, with shares gaining 8.00%.
Western Digital Corp. (WDC) posted the largest decline, tumbling 10.22%, followed by Seagate Technology Holdings PLC (STX) shares, which plunged 10.21%. Shares of Accenture PLC Cl A (ACN) dropped 6.27%.

The 10-Year Treasury yield climbed to 5.284%.
In Asia, Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index was down 0.94%, while China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange was closed.
In Europe, indexes rose, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index rising 0.75% and the FTSE 100 Index adding 0.32% from the previous close.
