AWS Counters AI Backlash with Community Investments

Good morning. A Wall Street Journal analysis of more than four million TikToks posted between Aug. 1 and Sept. 20 sees a growing antipathy to the AI build-out with a dislike of data centers and AI uniting creators and creeping into areas of the social platform that rarely touch politics. Political podcasters on both left- and right-leaning shows also can’t stop talking about AI. Hourly mentions of AI more than doubled from August to September, according to a Journal analysis of more than 200 shows.

Maybe cash is the key to stemming the data-center backlash.
