Our small community org now runs blog, newsletter, docs, SSO, stats and monitoring on one ~£10 Hetzner box
I run a tiny non-profit tech collective in Manchester. Over the last few months we consolidated basically everything we do onto a single Hetzner box so volunteers can actually run it together, and I wrote up the whole setup. What's on it: Ghost for the blog, newsletter and memberships, Dex on top of GitHub for login to everything (your GitHub team membership is your org ID), Outline for docs, HedgeDoc for pads, Matomo for stats, Grafana Alloy for monitoring, a custom Discord bot, and Grist about to replace Airtable. Renovate opens and merges update PRs, so nobody needs SSH or secrets to work on it, just GitHub access. gfsc.community/how-we-run-gfscs-digital-infrastructure-for-10-a-month Would like to know what you'd do differently.
