Yes, a shocker. We've long noticed that a bigger than usual change is more likely on one of the last few days of the month, but I'm quite sure there hasn't before been a change anything close to this big. Evidently there were a slew of upward reappraisals. According to M*, the account is up 7.21% over the last year. I'm hoping that this was the first year of another 10-year run of good, low-volatility returns, like those from 1996 to 2007 and 2010 to 2020. I prefer TREA to bonds (and to TIAA TRAD).
