Cirrus - a notes app that lives in your MacBook's notch

I used Raycast Notes for years. A note one hotkey away is still the best way I know to jot something down without losing what I'm doing. But the free plan stops at 5 notes, unlimited is $8 a month, and I kept wanting links between notes, tables and somewhere to do quick math. So I built Cirrus. - Press ⌃⌘N in any app and a note floats on top. Esc and you're back. - Or park it in the notch or a small pill on the screen edge. Hover to peek and type straight in, no app switching. - Markdown with the symbols hidden, [[links]] between notes, #tags, and math that answers as you type (end a line with =). - Syncs through your own iCloud. No account, no analytics. The hardest part was getting the notch peek to take keystrokes without stealing focus from the app you're in. CloudKit sync edge cases were a close second.
