OpenGhost 1.2: a big update An agent for DeepSeek, ChatGPT, OpenAI and Claude

Hi everyone! This is the biggest and hardest OpenGhost update yet: a lot of work went into security and optimization. What's new: • Browser work up to 10× cheaper. On long sessions the agent spends up to 10 times less in the browser, because the repeated part of each request now comes from the provider's cache. Quality is untouched: the agent sees and does exactly what it did before. • Light theme. • Token usage. A new Usage section in the settings shows what you spent today, this week, this month and all time, by provider and model. You also see your ChatGPT plan limits and your DeepSeek balance. • Instructions and files for every chat. In Settings → General you can write your own instructions once and attach files. The agent sees them in every chat, even a very long one. Pictures work too. • Clear approvals. In Ask mode the agent explains in plain words what it wants to do. The app shows what kind of step it is (looking, changing files, deleting, installing) and which files and folders it touches. • Rename chats right in the list. • Effort shows its level name, so you can see how deeply the model will think. • Security . API keys are no longer stored in plain text; the operating system encrypts them (on Linux, when a password keyring is available). macOS and Linux. Cmd+A, Cmd+C, Cmd+V and Cmd+Z now work on Mac. On Linux, paths respect letter case, and approvals understand bash and zsh commands. • Rendering engine. Rendering is more robust, and folders in the agent's answers now appear as a neat card instead of plain text. • Long pastes. A long copied text turns into a card on its own, and one click turns it back into plain text. • Stop and keyboard. Esc stops the agent instantly, from anywhere. What you type in the chat no longer ends up in the browser while the agent works there. A clean GitHub repo. One codebase for Windows, macOS and Linux, with no duplicates and no clutter. The system prompt is about 5–6.5k tokens, depending on the model. If you asked for something that isn't here yet, it's coming in the next update. Thanks to everyone who sent pull requests: @kodachromez, @Bruno8R, @anupamme and @mike13kohler. You helped make OpenGhost more secure. As always, the project is open source.
