Anyone else getting nonstop terminal flashes on Codex 0.157.x for Windows?

Since updating Codex CLI on Windows, every request that runs commands can spawn terminal windows that flash open and disappear. At first I thought something was wrong with my PC. Turns out there’s a GitHub issue with a bunch of people reproducing the same thing: github.com/openai/codex/issues/48074 It seems tied to the new managed daemon/app-server path. People are still reproducing it on 0.157.1. Temporary workaround that seems to work for several people: codex --no-daemon Some users also fixed it by rolling back to 0.155.1/0.156.0. An OpenAI maintainer says 0.157.1 had a partial fix, they found a second cause, and another fix is coming in the next release. Curious how widespread this is: if you're on Windows + Codex CLI 0.157.1, are you seeing the flashing terminals too?
