Trading iPhone in store question

So we got the iPhone 18 pro and are trading in a iPhone 14 pro. Already transfered and setup the new phone. Ok go5g plus and getting $730 trade in. Find my iPhone is turned off on on old phone. Do you just factory reset it, ensure it's charged, and head to store? Also I read on this subreddit to get a receipt and make sure it shows the promo?
