S&P 500 Futures Flat in Premarket Trading; IonQ, Quantinuum Lead

With U.S. stock markets set to open in two hours, IonQ Inc. (IONQ) was up 11.7% in pre-market trading, and Quantinuum Inc. (QNT) was up 6.5%.

PACS Group Inc. (PACS), Lennar Corp. Cl B (LEN.B), and Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (WMS) were all posting gains of at least 5%. In early trading, Archrock Inc. (AROC) and Immunovant Inc. (IMVT) had posted declines, falling 7.9% and 7.4%, respectively.

Meanwhile S&P 500 futures were up 0.02%, with futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling 0.05%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures were down 2.79%.

In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures were up 0.49%, and gold futures were down 0.65%. Bitcoin was down 0.77% to $85,565.

The 10-Year Treasury yield climbed to 4.979%.

In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 remained unchanged, while the Dow was down 0.36%. In Asia overnight, China’s Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.39%.

In afternoon trading, stocks in Europe are down, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index declining 0.31% and the FTSE 100 Index dropping 0.04% from the previous close.
