So with all the talk about long TIPS recently, I got to wondering which provides the most protection for future inflation risk. Have any studies been conducted comparing the 2 for this purpose? My thinking is that Equities would provide a better long term guarantee against inflation. But this view might be tainted by recency bias. I have not dug I to this and wanted to see if anyone has already done the leg work on this topic. Inquiring minds want to know
