Investing - Theory, News & General • Decrease in 2026 dividends - Total International stock

I noticed the quarterly dividends for VTIAX Total international stock mutual fund are a fair amount lower for 1Q, 2Q, 3Q compared to 2025. The last year or so they seem to sit on a pile of cash and then give out a whopper in 4Q. I can't imagine the underlying companies have cut dividends or that would be news, I don't think currency would be this large of event...?

Is there something I'm missing or should I just plan on even a bigger whopper in December so I can plan taxes? thanks sorry format isn't working quite like I planned
