I built a lead-scoring SaaS and realized I was solving the wrong first problem
I originally built Orty around a simple idea: Give me a potential client → I'll tell you whether they're worth contacting. Sounds useful, right? Then I started trying to get users myself. And I kept running into the exact same problem my users had: “Okay… but where the hell do I find the clients in the first place?” So I rebuilt the beginning of the workflow. I just shipped Orty Scout . Instead of starting with a lead, you start with: What do you sell? Who do you want to sell it to? Scout then creates a client-hunting strategy around your target: Where to search YouTube search queries Instagram hashtags/searches TikTok searches LinkedIn searches Google operators Reddit/X/community ideas Filters to narrow the search Positive and negative opportunity signals What makes a prospect interesting Why now? A preliminary opportunity score The best service opportunity to pitch An outreach angle Then you can grab a prospect you actually find, paste the URL/screenshot/text into Orty, and continue: Find → Capture → Analyze → Score → Outreach → CRM I'm deliberately not trying to build another Apollo. No giant scraped database. No fake “AI found 10,000 leads.” No invented prospects. Scout currently helps you hunt smarter , while you still choose the actual prospects. I built this because finding clients has been one of the hardest parts of building Orty itself. I'm looking for a few freelancers/agencies who genuinely struggle with client acquisition and are willing to try the new workflow and tell me where it sucks. It's free to try during the beta: getorty.vercel.app If you're currently trying to get clients through YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc., I'd especially like to hear how you currently do it.
