Jamiah Hargins is an urban farming leader and the founder of Crop Swap L.A. Before joining the panel for “Can We Squash Food Deserts?,” part of The Huntington’s Sunday Suppers series and co-presented by Zócalo Public Square and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, he spoke to us in the green room about his dream dinner guest, regenerating dead spaces, and the vegetable that best represents L.A.
