What is the best way to use LLMS's in 2026? I feel like a caveman with the way I use them?

I'm still using LLM's the 2022/23 way of doing everything manually from the chat box. I copy and paste everything manually into the box and ask the AI to explain or do something, such as pasting code and pictures etc. And likewise copy and paste everything back that the AI produces. I feel like a caveman lol, it is very inefficient I can tell. Likewise with prompting, I use such basic entirely human written prompts with such little automation. How can I improve the way I use LLM's? The main mode of using it these days seems to be agentic. What exactly is this and how do I set up agents? I've seen people have like multiple agents working together on a project as though they are a bunch of employees on a team acting autonomously. Likewise, people use connectors and plugins to connect all their different applications together and use those agents to run big tasks and pull resources automatically. So what is the best way to use LLM's today, not just for coding but various purposes such as research, writing, and design tasks too?
