would you use a self hosted deployment platform like coolify or dokploy, but built around kubernetes?

i'm building an open source project with one goal: make deploying and managing apps on your own server as simple as possible. the idea is similar to coolify or dokploy. you connect a repo, configure the app, deploy it, manage domains, env vars and logs from one place. the main difference is that kubernetes is used underneath, while trying to keep that complexity hidden from the user. before i build too much, i want to validate if this is something people would actually use. do you currently use coolify, dokploy or something similar? what do you like or dislike about them? would kubernetes underneath be useful to you, or just unnecessary complexity? what would make you switch to another self hosted deployment platform?
