These are the basic principles I believe in: It’s easier and easier to build. It’s harder and harder to sell. Aligning what you should offer to solving someone’s pain point is the key question you need to answer as a startup. Engage the market too early and refine. You will very likely be wrong if you think your idea needs a perfect product before you start talking to your ICP. You are not your ICP, unless you really are. Sell to the one holding the $ decision, not the user. Unless they’re really the same person. * Focus on a single value for solving a single pain. If you have too many value propositions, it’ll be very hard to scale. Happy to learn of counter examples if you think I’m wrong.
