Has anyone seen Mercury Bank's New bookkeeping tool? I will not promote

Just got flagged this on LI - Mercury launched Mercury Books - pretty much a QBO-like tool but sits in the bank - trying to understand a competitive advantage to using it over QBO. Seems like pricing will be $35/mo in 2027 (free right now), which is pretty close to QBO's simple plan at $38/mo. Competitive advantage is only that there is no middle-man software b/t accounting sys and bank. So its saving you maybe $36/yr to transfer over to their system and need to re-do your books there and reset rules and ensure categorizations make sense. Also need to train your team or accountant on new ecosystem. Upgrade path on their site also notes having them partner with Xero. So it doesn't seem like it can scale at this point. Maybe someone knows more than I do - but I struggle to understand the reasoning for banks doing this - it feels similar to how streaming services are but now with banks - you bundle up a bunch of systems but they only partially work so you end up buying a diff bundle or suite of services somewhere else and it pieces together into what you had in the first place (cable television).
