Question about Homarr

I have Homarr configured in the layout I want. I want to change the date/time widget to show the day and date on one line, the month/year on the second line, but everything I try in the custom date format field, does not change it. Is there a way to accomplish this? I tried using dddd D
MMMM YYYY , as well as dddd D\nMMMM YYYY but neither one of them works, and it looses it as soon as I save and close.
