T-Mobile trade in question... With all the issues with Google... Does TMO use someone else?

T-Mobile trade in question... With all the issues with Google... Does TMO use someone else? I have been seeing story after story of nightmares when trading in phones for the new pixel 11, but that was direct through Google Store. I am hoping no major issues like this going through T-Mobile. Anyone know?
