I wasted my last three years figuring out what I want to be (I will not promote)

Hey guys, it might sound like a rant post, but I am making this rather to ask for your perspective over it. I'm a highly ambitious person, and am pretty early in my career. I was in my first job, and noticed that my city, although one of the best cities in my country, has a MAJOR gap for social communities that helps people socialize or fight loneliness. Anyways, this motivated me so much that I joined a startup (parallel to my job, as a gig) which was doing great work of building and monetising communities in the city and making third spaces for the people. Over just a couple of years, I not only started to help out the startup with some leadership of their communities, but also with the orchestration of everything at the city level. I helped them innovate a few things that helped them transform in great ways. So I ended up becoming more like a big guy in this domain and I was loving it, until a few life transitions ended up hitting me, and I had to do a lot of self-reflection before I realized I want to become an entrepreneur and create something real. All of a sudden, it feels like I just wasted my last 3 years. I am 27, and only now realizing what I want to do, while there are people younger than me, already building their first startups. I feel like I have lost some faith in myself. I kept on being in delusion that I am doing the right thing, while in reality I should have questioned my goals and realized my entrepreneurship path sooner. Now the issue is that I don't trust my future actions either, and I feel that I am just a bit too late in life now, and that I can't do it if I could waste my last few years in something irrelevant. What perspective can help me get to a better place?
