Plan change after USCell acquisition
Lengthy post incoming so I apologize for the excessive detail. Curious about switching to a different plan after being acquired by T-Mobile. Currently on USCell Unlimited 3.0 plan for 3 lines that costs $245 per month (down from $316 due to promotional bill credits for all 3 devices—iPhone 15 PM, IPhone 16 PM, and iPhone 16 plus). All three devices are paying ~30 per month for hotspot and device protection per the USCell promo requirements when we last upgraded. 15 PM is paid outright after this month, other 2 lines still have 12 months to go. I have looked at the experience more 2.0 with and without Appreciation savings and the experience beyond 2.0. Rep told me over the phone that the Experience More w/AS would come in at ~$170 excluding taxes (currently ~$20 total on my bill) and Experience Beyond 2.0 would be ~$230 excluding taxes. Obviously both plans come with the included hotspot that I’m currently paying separately for and he noted device protection per line would be $7 instead of $15. The prices quoted for the plans do not include protection. Really debating whether I even add that on or not. My question is really what is the best option in your experience? The iPhone 15 PM is eligible for an upgrade on either plan, only difference is $930 trade in vs $1200. The other 2 lines would also be eligible on the experience beyond 2.0 for $1200 value. All 3 lines would be upgrading to iPhone 18 PM if they decide to upgrade this year. Really looking for some guidance and what your experience has been. So far, super disappointed with the coverage we’ve received as it was significantly better under USCell. TL;DR switching from USCell plan to Experience more or experience beyond and upgrading devices if able to
