JellyDisc, a Jellyfin music client (iOS) - currently on beta

IMPORTANT: You need a Jellyfin based home server setup to see its fullest since a bigger library works better with the radio algorithm. Hey all, I’m looking for some more testers for an iPhone app I’ve been working on called JellyDisc. I initially shared it with the Jellyfin sub and have around 100 testers now. This has already helped me fix quite a few bugs across different devices, servers and network setups, so I’d like to have a wider testing pool so to speak. JellyDisc is a music client for Jellyfin, and it is built around a physical collection approach rather than a typical streaming interface. I have always been an obsessive library manager since the old iPod days with custom images so did this for the people who share the same weird obsession 😬 Current features include: Album based collection with a smooth scroll view Album of the Day feature picking an album every morning and sends you a notification Smart search including Artist, album and track with recommendations Interactive disc player DJ mode where you can control the track by playing with the disc Playlists Mixtapes with a lot customisation options Custom Mixtape covers Offline downloads Direct Play or lower bitrate encodes Lyric support Always on Radio stations - really happy how it turned out, you tune in to any stations that is constantly playing music, saves me the trouble of selecting an album, and find some hidden gems I’ve never listened before. CarPlay (just released yesterday) iPhone only - iPad layout is still in the works but should work in window mode. I can't attach a video on the sub so here is the video showing the current version in action. streamable.com/2zr9a1 This is my first SwiftUI app and it’s still in development, so bugs are expected, finding those is the main reason I’m sharing the beta. And as the AI disclaimer : I am a designer first and this is my first Swift app, while none of the design choices made by AI and used my Figma drafts, I have used AI tools that is built on Xcode and used Claude and ChatGPT chat tools to create the codebase and chat me through functionalities and how to adapt. At the moment JellyDisc iPhone only. I’m working on how it would look like in landscape since the new duo added f-ton of aspect ratios anyways.
