How to become good at writing code without having access to any resource?

This is a follow up post to the one I posted recently (and is in the link). I am pretty bad at memorizing code and apparrently that's a requirement in today's interviews. How can I become good at writing code without having access to any resource? Any help is greatly appreciated.
