V4.1 for non coding tasks

I used V4 pro (preview) for my undergrad thesis in physics (cosmology). It was pretty good for things like drafting text or drafting derivations (they were usually wrong somewhere but still useful), it was really useful because I took off me tasks like writing introductions or rewriting derivations in latex and I just had to read and correct. I would also use it to scrap arxiv for useful references. How good is V4.1 for that kind of tasks? Is it really worth it for that jobs or should I keep using V4 pro? I feel like these Chinese models are focusing more on coding and not in other areas, for example the latest advances from DeepSeek like DSpark only care about speed but it also increases the hallucinations which can be really harmful for the kind of tasks I would need from it. I have an opencode subscription so if you can recommend me another model from there I'll be thankful.
