Polymarket Appoints First CFO

Polymarket appointed former Amazon executive Warren Jenson as its first chief financial officer as the prediction markets startup looks to grow in the U.S.

Polymarket said Jenson will set Polymarket’s financial and capital strategy as it scales up its Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange. “Warren has led finance at some of the most consequential companies in the world, and his experience will be critical to everything we build from here,” Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan said.

Jenson served as CFO at Amazon between 1999 and 2002, and currently serves as a board member of Dropbox and crypto firm Ripple.
