HAVN HS 420 base (not VGPU)

I am almost done with a build in HAVN HS 420 standard (not Vertical GPU edition),

This case is very, very solid. It is also built with precision. Thirdly it offers lots of options when building

.

It is beautiful with the curved glass, and the glass is very thick and very heavy, so not one of those cases you will want to get inside of very often.

Getting into the top and back is very easy, via a pull at the magnetized contacts (screws are only needed for moving/shipping the case).

I really like the lower back fan which is designed for intake, and I am matching it with another intake fan on the side fan section so with the 3 bottom fans a total of 5 x 140 intake fans. I have a top mounted 420 radiator (beQuiet Silent Loop 3) which will give me 4 x 140 exhaust fans to go with 5 ix 140 intake fans.

Did I say the case was heavy? It is very heavy, 2 people lifting the box heavy.

This case in my opinion is for a “higher cost” to “expensive” gaming build - one of the top cases for gaming, even in 2026.

It has plenty of room for water cooling and 11 x 140mm fans (including AIO fans)!

It is probably NOT for Threadripper since there are only 6 slots and you want 7.

I am using an ASRock x870E Nova board (amazing board for the money $229)

In the HAVN HS 420 my Saphire Nitro+ card takes up slots 2,3, and 4. So no slot 1 for this card, luckily I still have slots 5 and 6 for a capture card and a 10Gb NIC.

more coming - my own pics and some benchmarks

To see additional content on this case, see Gamers Nexus and Jays2cents. Jay has a few videos where he builds in the case a custom water cooling loop with lots of case fans.
