They have automated RMD service for inherited IRA. I used it until this year. I stopped it this year to perform QCDs but will resume it next year. I set it up in 2011. At that time I had to call to set it up. You can choose the date when you want the RMD drawn from the account. If you already have drawn your RMD for this year you will have to wait until 2027 to set it up. you can determine whether the money goes to your bank or another VG account and fund. I have funds in my Inherited IRA. I am not sure if this service is available for ETFs in the Inherited IRA.

VG will not take into account any $ drawn for QCDs into account with their RMD service. If you take a QCD, they do not deduct the QCD $ from the RMD. They just withdraw the RMD calculated based on calculated age divisor.
