How to scare yourself in 5 seconds: add vulnerability scanning to your homelab dashboard

Been building a local-first homelab monitoring/security tool and finally wired container image vulnerability scanning into it. Then I pointed it at Jellyfin. 462 vulnerabilities 4 critical 83 high 8 high-EPSS Public exposure Well… that escalated quickly. Obviously, a CVE count alone doesn't mean “your server is compromised” — exploitability, affected packages, runtime exposure and actual attack paths matter. But seeing image vulnerabilities combined with real exposure/context in one place hits very differently than reading a scanner report in a terminal.
