S&P 500 Futures Up in Premarket Trading; Snowflake, Netskope Lead

With U.S. stock markets set to open in two hours, Snowflake Inc. (SNOW) was up 23.6% in pre-market trading, and Netskope Inc. Cl A (NTSK) was up 10.5%.

Argan Inc. (AGX), AeroVironment Inc. (AVAV), and Summit Therapeutics Inc. (SMMT) were all posting gains of at least 6%. In early trading, Victoria’s Secret & Co. (VSXY) and American Financial Group Inc. (AFG) had posted declines, falling 18.8% and 8.9%, respectively.

Meanwhile S&P 500 futures were up 0.07%, with futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.20%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures were down 3.38%.

In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures were up 1.04%, while gold futures were up 1.50%. Bitcoin rose 0.71% to $77,857.

The 10-Year Treasury yield dropped to 4.778%.

In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow were up 0.46% and 0.56%, respectively. Stocks in Asia were mixed overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index down 0.17% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02%.

In afternoon trading, stocks in Europe are up, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index increasing 0.21% and the FTSE 100 Index increasing 0.28% from the previous close.
