IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.2 Is Out!

IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.2 is now available.

You can update to this version from inside the IDE, using the Toolbox App, or by using snaps if you are a Ubuntu user. You can also download it from our website.

IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.2 brings the following refinements:

• Loading a remote OpenAPI specification no longer fails. [IJPL-63202]
• The order of terminal tabs is now preserved after reopening a project. [IJPL-212254]
• Checkboxes in Markdown now have improved contrast for better visibility. [IJPL-93391]
• The vertical scrollbar is once again displayed correctly in the Markdown preview pane. [IJPL-251259]
• Opening directories containing a large number of .md files no longer causes the IDE to freeze. [IJPL-93385]
• Spring Modulith no longer incorrectly reports accessibility violations for types exposed through @NamedInterface in nested modules. [IDEA-376940]
