Max 20x folks: has the Fable bar been draining about twice as fast since Fable 5.1 landed?

I have a little script that polls the /usage meters every 5 minutes and lines each 1% tick of the Fable bar up against the token counts in my local Claude Code transcripts. I now have two complete weekly windows to compare: the week of Aug 25, which was entirely Fable 5, and everything since Sep 1, which is entirely Fable 5.1. Same Max 20x plan both weeks, same Claude Code promo. What one Fable point (1% of the bar) bought me: per Fable point Fable 5 week Fable 5.1 week output tokens 57k 35k cache-write tokens 183k 106k cache-read tokens 17.8M 9.5M assistant turns 40 25 Every row dropped by 38 to 47 percent. Output per turn is the same (about 1.4k), so 5.1 isn't just talking more. The 5 hour bar shows the same thing. My tier didn't change, Fable is still capped at half the weekly bar, and the resets are on the usual schedule. I went looking for an explanation and came up empty, which is the annoying part. The model pages list identical prices apart from cache reads, which got 4x cheaper on 5.1. The support article literally says "Fable 5 and Fable 5.1 work the same way on your plan." The July 20 limit cut happened before either of these weeks, and the Claude Code +50% weekly promo is still running through Sep 13. Only thing I've got: last week the meter was charging Fable 5 at roughly the same rate as Opus per token, even though Fable's list price is double Opus. If 5.1 is now being metered at the actual 2:1 ratio, that would explain the whole jump by itself. I'm guessing it's a quiet correction rather than a plan change, but I'm not sure, hence the post. . So, anyone else on Max noticing the Fable bar moving faster since Tuesday? If you happen to have /usage screenshots from before and after Sep 1 and a rough idea of how much work they covered, that would either confirm this or kill it.
