AI Data center trade will never die because the government (NSA, CIA, FBI, etc.) can always buy up spare compute for AI mass surveillance

Flock cameras and the like only does basic data labelling, car license plate look ups, and video/audio recording for retroactive data retrieval by police agencies But imagine if we have surveillance cameras all over every single city and road, proactively detecting when criminal activity happens and sending out alerts to police. This will require an insane amount of inference load as real time computer vision for videos is extremely intensive If consumer/business AI ever dies down, I strongly believe the government will begin shovelling money into these data centers to both achieve this goal and more importantly, save the economy/stock market from crashing
