Looking for a MultiPurpose app (Calendar, Birthdays, TaskManager)
Hi, I'm looking for a couple of apps or if there is one that fits both also fine. On one hand I am looking for a TaskManager. Currently I use Microsoft ToDo that works fine for me but sometimes I have some small home projects that I would like to manage with a simple Kanban or Gantt chart as well. (I found Vikunja recommended but have not tested it yet) What I would like to have is also a mobile app but not sure how much of a luxury wish this is for being a selfhosted app. Next I'm looking for a tool were I can store information related to people. Basic info like contact data, Birthday and maybe a free text note. No need for more. I installed Monica but I never got to use it because it just to much and to tedious to setup I feel for my use case its overkill. Last I'm also looking for a app for my personal Calendar. This connects a bit with the other app for birthdays as I guess I could also just register them in a Birthday Calendar. I'm not somebody who has a lot of personal appointments to keep track of so no need for anything fancy here either. But what I do have for some years now and that I really find useful is a Excel with a "Year at a Glance" view. That is nice to track bigger events, holidays and such things. But creating it for each year manually is a downer (well its only once a year but what do we self-host for? :) ) Here an example: preview.redd.it/ncxlql1xkklh1.png I saw Nextcloud is a thing but it seems so big for when I only actually use the calendar. Also not sure about how much resources Nextcloud woud use on my server. Also I found Yuvomi that has also a bigger scope then what I want. Other things from it seem interesting but not sure if I can activate and deactivate it modules based on what I need like for example if I don't want the shopping cart can I just deactivate it so it does not show up? Ofc I can always just ignore it... Also what turns me of on Yuvomi is that it seems to be a newer project and for example in the example compose file there are still some german comments in from the developer. I might be picky here and I'm not who can do it better. I hope its ok that I mix the different things up here. I thought about creating separate posts but somehow I feel that there might be recommendations that cover several of these things.
