Stomilanki Olsztyn is an independent women’s football club that started as a local initiative in 2011 and has since grown into one of the leading women’s clubs in Poland. It combines big sporting ambitions with a close-knit atmosphere, strong local roots and a real pathway for young players to develop.

Women’s football in Poland is going through a breakthrough moment. It is becoming more visible and more important, but it is still often seen as less professional, less entertaining and somehow secondary to the men’s game. At the same time, it is still developing its own identity, its own visual language and its own way of telling its story. Our role was not simply to refresh the Stomilanki brand, but to create an identity that would capture the club’s character and show the wider potential of women’s football.

We started with a longing for a kind of football built on real emotion, respect, community and the pure joy of playing. We presented Stomilanki as a fresh energy in the game: positive, ambitious and proud to be different. We refined the logo and developed a complete visual language built around bold typography, dynamic layouts and a strong sense of movement. We also created a custom set of numbers inspired by the distinctive shapes found in the logo. This makes shirt numbers, scores and statistics feel like a natural and consistent part of the club’s identity. We completed the project pro bono as our contribution to creating equal opportunities for women and men.

The new identity builds on the history of Stomilanki while giving the club the tools to grow further. It makes the club more recognisable, brings greater consistency to its communication and reinforces its independence. It also explores a new language for women’s football—one that is not defined by comparison with the men’s game, but by its own energy, community and joy of playing.
