Kilo App Update: review PRs, dictate prompts, and pick which CLI runs the job

Here’s what shipped, and what we fixed along the way.

• Full GitHub PR review on your phone: diffs, line comments, approvals, threads, and merge controls
• Dictate prompts instead of typing them
• Start a session on a specific connected Kilo CLI instance, and drive it with slash commands
• An “Active now” tray plus five notification categories you control
• Session cost and context pressure in the chat header, with a per-model token breakdown
• iPad gets a real tablet layout, including side-by-side diffs

Review pull requests from your phone

Paste a GitHub PR link (or tap one) and you get the overview, check status, and full file diffs with syntax highlighting.

From there you can:

• Leave line-level comments and batch them into a single review
• Approve or request changes
• Reply in discussion threads, react, and resolve them
• Merge, squash, or rebase, and turn on auto-merge

Approving with no comments used to be impossible, so the fast path — read the diff, ship it — was the one thing you couldn’t do from a phone. That’s fixed.

Dictate instead of typing

Voice input is now in both the chat composer and the cloud agent composer. Tap the mic, say what you want the agent to do, send it.

Know the moment an agent needs you

An “Active now” tray pins live sessions to the top of the list with NEEDS INPUT badges you can act on directly. Two fixes make it trustworthy: the tray used to reshuffle its order on every refresh, and sessions could sit stuck on NEEDS INPUT for hours after the underlying CLI had already died. Both are resolved.

Push notification settings are more flexible now.

Code Reviewer, Security Agent, and org controls in your profile

Three things that previously lived only on the web are now in the app:

Code Reviewer for GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Connect a provider, pick a model per repository, browse recent reviews, and trigger a manual review.

Security Agent with a posture dashboard, findings you can triage and act on, and policy settings.

Organizations for members, invites, roles, usage limits, credits, and invoices.

Plus a Light, Dark, or System theme setting.

Kilo on iPad

Kilo App now ships as a tablet app rather than a stretched phone build. The clearest payoff is code review: on iPad, diffs render side by side, the way you’d read them on a desktop. Phones keep the unified view, which is the right call on a narrow screen.

What we fixed

Beyond the fixes above:

• Session costs are now calculated consistently across list and detail views.
• Markdown tables stay open while agents stream responses.
• Returning to the Agents list preserves your scroll position.
• Sessions show the correct origin instead of misleading or unknown labels.
• PR reviews got broad UI work: better empty states, paste controls, file navigation, scrolling, and pagination.
• Follow-up messages can be queued while an agent is still working.
• Attachments support any permitted file type, not just images.
• Text, links, images, and files can be shared into Kilo from other apps.

Update the app

Kilo App is on the App Store and Google Play. If you already have it, update to pick all of this up.
