AI made me notice bad design more

I used to spend like 2 days getting the first version of a site together and by that point I was attached to half the decisions just because I'd already made them now I can get something decent on screen way faster and its kind of weird I end up noticing how generic it feels almost immediately same big headline, same cards underneath same safe spacing so nothing is really wrong with it but something feels off. So I've been spending more time messing with the smaller stuff after the first version moving things around, changing type, deleting sections I thought I needed going back to images because they don't fit anymore. I thought AI would make me care less about all that because the building part got easier but I think its made me more picky about what looks intentional and what just looks finished
