I built an open-source IDE for Windows and Mac that lets Codex manage other coding agents

Hav been trying out a bunch of open source agent IDEs but couldn't find one that had what I was looking for: a Codex level UI, inter-agent work, preserved my existing inference methods (claude/codex subscription, ollama for self hosted models), and great tool integrations. So I built Proliferate ( github.com/proliferate-ai/proliferate )! You can use Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Cursor, and OpenCode with any authentication / inference Configure MCPs and skills across all of them Have any agent manage any other agent Set up automations with any agent It's 100% open source (AGPL 3.0) and self-hostable.
