Help us beta test the new Developer Story

For the past several months, we’ve been building a new version of an “old” product - a rebuilt version of Developer Story, which we sunset about 5 years ago. As we get ready to test this new version, and we’d like members of the Stack Overflow community to help us put it through its paces.

The beta will give you an early look at the experience and an opportunity to tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what could be clearer or more useful. We’re interested in feedback from developers with different backgrounds, career paths, and levels of experience.

If you’d like to participate, there’s a new beta opt in toggle in your profile settings on Stack Overflow.

We ask that those who sign up approach the beta in a spirit of process improvement. This is a great opportunity to work with the internal team to make this feature truly useful.

Feedback is intentionally open ended here. This is an area of the site for you to be able to sell yourself and tell your own story - what do you want to see here? What would make this meaningful for you?
