Spade is a data platform designed to help teams organise and analyse complex information. For its visual identity, Togethers developed a visual system applicable across all digital products and communications. The visual identity uses modular layouts, simple graphic elements and a restrained colour palette centered around several tones of green (as a reference to paper money?). This structured approach is reinforced by the consistent use of typography, with NaN SuperX Sans, FT Polar and FT Polar Mono playing a central role throughout the identity system.
NaN SuperX is used as the primary typeface for headings, interface elements and brand communications. Its wide range of weights and bold geometric structure allow designers to create a clear hierarchy and maintain legibility at different scales. Togethers also uses this typeface in large sizes and tight compositions to structure layouts without relying too heavily on additional graphic elements. FT Polar and specifically its Mono counterpart brings a technical undertone to the identity, in a UI-as-identity move.
